Keystone Donation
In 1972, Mom made a donation to then Keystone Junior College to help support their purchase of a Telescope and the establishment of an observatory for the region - see her letter at bottom of page.
Before Dad's passing, a gift was made to the Thomas Cupillari Astronomy Observatory at Keystone College in Mom's name. The observatory maintains a wonderful telescope, formerly owned by Dave Garroway of "The Today Show" and now has this smaller, very powerful telescope. This telescope has a GPS unit, and after establishing the proper settings, allows students to load the code for any star and have the telescope locate it.
